Ridgecrest Ministries

When Lifeway decided to sell Ridgecrest in 2020, we were in the midst of the COVID crisis and moved quickly to complete the sale to The Ridgecrest Foundation. Well hindsight is 2020 and we’ve realized that Ridgecrest Ministries more accurately represents who we are, what we do and most importantly who we serve.

Frequently Asked Questions

Was Ridgecrest sold again?

No, Ridgecrest is the same non-profit ministry with the same Board of Directors.

If I have given to The Ridgecrest Foundation or have them listed as a beneficiary in my will, do I need to do anything different?

No, Ridgecrest Ministries is a DBA of The Ridgecrest Foundation, so no changes are required.

What does DBA mean?

DBA stands for doing business as and is a way of giving your business a name different from its registered name.

Why are you shifting your public name from The Ridgecrest Foundation to Ridgecrest Ministries?

Ridgecrest Ministries more accurately describes who we are and what we do to external individuals and organizations.

  • We are a nonprofit, operating ministries that impact lives for God’s glory.
  • We are not a wealthy, private foundation that primarily exists to grant money to other nonprofits.
  • We do invite support from donors, foundations, etc.
